Had kung-fu tonight... really not feeling well but I went anyway. I need it for class, and it's damn fun. After class I ganked Glenn's shoes while he wasn't looking and hid them in the sink in one of the bathrooms. He came out, looked around, went back into the studio... Alex said, "He's going to cripple you so bad." I laughed, Glenn came out and saw me just as I managed to stifle myself.
"Madison!"
I bursted with laughter, and Glenn said, "Where are they?"
"In the bathrom."
He got his shoes and said, "I can read you like a cheap novel."
"You can read?!"
The following "oohs" indicated that I'd done well. I then ran before Glenn decided to actually cripple me... next class should be interesting. Last week he was betting Mitch he could make me vomit by back-kicking me... ...still hasn't tried yet.
This morning at "kung-sleep" (morning kung-fu) Kris and I invented "happy mantis" style kung-fu. It's pretty hilarious, but of course, we were the only ones there, so... anyway. It was funny.
Bleh.
Other than the kung-fu... ...I'm a little annoyed and... ...stuff. I don't really know what I am. Trying to sort some stuff out now. Not being all too successful.
But that's for me to know.
Sigh.
Uh... right. Anyway... been doing some pretty awesome labs in Chemistry lately... Physics has also been good. English is stupid and boring, but... shmeh.
Lots of funny things have happened lately actually... most of them I can't remember, but I've written them all down.
... ...massively heavy msn conversations... ...this is going to be an interesting blog entry to read later.
I've started leaving riddles in the communications book at work. First I left this one from The Hobbit:
This thing, all things devours;
Birds, beasts, trees, flowers;
Gnaws on iron, bites on steel,
Grinds down hard stone to meal,
Slays kings, ruins towns,
Crushes high mountains down.
What is it?
:::NOTE: I started writing this entry a few days ago... I'm posting it today, now finishing it. So... ...be confused:::
Bill (boss) had no idea what the answer was, so he wrote this:
It's a gnome. His name is Andy, he lives in a cave - won't say where - anyway, I've heard he suffers from Hulkomania. Nasty virus; still looking for a cure. He's not a bad guy once you get to know him.
...so that was hilariously random.
I've now left a couple more riddles... my favourite to date has been:
8549176320 : explain the order of these numbers.
You get the answer near the end of this entry... no you can't just scroll down, you have to read, damn it!
It's been my favourite because no one could get it, and Paola sent it with her daughter to school. The daughter couldn't find any friends who knew it, so she asked her teacher. The teacher couldn't get it, so he sent some other student to find me.
Meanwhile, I'm in the middle of a titration lab in Chemistry class. Some kid comes to the door asking for me, and I'm like... what the hell? I gave him the answer... Mr Walmsley laughed hardcore.
Anyway...
I have an iced tea and it is VERY nice outside. I think I might just sit up here and write some story tonight... because that sounds funtastic.
As soon as I've finished this entry of course.
Maybe someone will come on to roleplay... anyway.
We had to write an essay for English recently (as usual) and this time (not so usual) it was free topic! I wrote about kung-fu. It was awesome. I managed 600 words without even thinking about it o.O ...so I guess I know now, for sure, that writing about things I like is WAY easy.
I've been working on my Jannin painting recently... yeah, the one I started in October. It's getting pretty close to being finished. I did his face (shading etc) with pastels... ...it turned out miraculously well. o.O
GURPS chez the Myles has been pretty fun lately too... I have a bunch of jokes written down on the back of my character sheet that I will post once I get it from him.
Soon I will be creating a new blog layout... this one is in dire need of newness.
...and that finishes up all the stuff I wanted to write about before. So... welcome to a new blog entry for tonight, Friday May 5th.
It was Juline's birthday on Monday (1st). I got her a Coles gift card. Wanted to be more original, but didn't have time to make/think of anything better. And she liked it either way. I wrote a letter with it (with some inside joke randomness) so... that was unique enough, she said.
Kyla made roses for one of the cakes at work today... apparently they're amazingly hard, but she did a brilliant job... that's right Kyla, smirk.
A few weeks ago I was doing early morning kung-fu with Alex and he said he thought I was ready for my orange belt test. I was inspired after that, so I went to Glenn. Firstly, I asked him about a staff... sean and I are now both going to buy one. Then I mentioned "orange belt" and he said, "You won't have a problem." So... that was cool.
I need about 34 more hours for my kung-fu IDS... and then Sean and I need to do some sort of demonstration. ...should be fun.
Anyway... time to go write a bit I think... as soon as I mail the story from my laptop (whose battery is dead) to this computer... whose. Hmm. Not the correst use of possessive pronouny thing. But there's no way in hell I was going to write "which has a dead battery", because that's just too long, and not cool.
But I digress.
Evening, all.
